Where there is more than one contract, it shall be deemed to be a single contract:

(1) In the context of entering into a hire purchase agreement between the lessee and the owner of an item and the person who gives any guarantee for payment of the installment amount of the hire purchase price of such item or between the investor and the owner of such item under the condition of entering into a hire purchase agreement or in case of any item being held as a pledge For the purposes of this paragraph, separate agreements between the person taking the pledge and the person holding the pledge shall be deemed to be a single agreement.
(2) If the agreement as per sub-section (1) is concluded on different dates, the latest date shall be considered as the date of conclusion of the agreement.
